History

August 2006: 'Opportunities for People Through Sevices' Video and DVD completed for OMRDD's Office of Public Affairs and premiered at the College of St Rose.

March 2006: Cogent begins working with the NYS Department of Transportation to develop an interactive training tool and decision tree.

January 2006: Dale Carnegie launches its redesigned website programmed by Cogent. The new site includes major enhancements that benefit both corporate and franchisee users.

October 2005: NYS Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities launches the second of three online learning courses developed by Cogent.

March 2005: Columbia-Green Community College Website, programmed by Cogent, wins gold medal award from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations.

September 2004: KWIC Website awarded New York State’s “Best of the Web Award”.

March 2003: Cogent becomes the webmaster for The New York State Forum for Information Resource Management.

June 2002: Cogent awarded New York State Kids Well-being Indicator Clearinghouse Website.

July 2001: Dale Carnegie signs first website mainenance contract with Cogent.

April 2001: Cogent qualifies for New York State OGS Backdrop Contract.

March 2001: Cogent moves to it's current location in historic downtown Troy, New York. Click here for more about Troy.

January 2001: Cogent merges with The Media Group to complement the existing technical skills with multimedia, photographic, and instructional design skills.

March 2000: Egrants transactional Website completed. Cogent continues to work with Egrants for site improvements

January 2000: Cogent is Incorporated.

December 1999: Cogent completes its first project. A CD-ROM Infomercial for Bosley Medical Group.

June 1998: Cogent Technologies founded.
